Alain Bensoussan
Alain Bensoussan is the founder and managing partner of Cabinet Alain Bensoussan, a law firm headquartered in Paris (France). Mr. Bensoussan focuses on intellectual property law, computer law, and international relation law. He is President of “Association française du droit de l'informatique et de la télécommunication” (AFDIT), President of the "Protection of Personal Data and Rights of the Digital Person" UIA Commission, First Vice-President of “Association nationale d’assistance administrative et fiscale pour les avocats” (ANAAFA) and an Arbitrator with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Mr. Bensoussan founded the law firm Cabinet Alain Bensoussan in 1978 in order to focus on computer and advanced technologies law. Always at the forefront of technological changes, today the firm is involved in other cutting-edge sectors. Mr. Bensoussan teaches computer law at various Schools and Universities (including at École Centrale de Paris, Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale) and is a regular speaker at conferences and training programs. In 1985, Mr. Bensoussan wrote and published the first treatise on computer law (Berger-Levrault Editions). In 2008, he published a book on data protection on the occasion of the 30th birthday of the French Data Protection Act (Editions Francis Lefebvre).
