Olga Finkel, BA (Law), MSc (IT&Econ), LLD, Managing Partner, WH Law (Malta), specializes in ICT (Information Communication Technology) law. Dr. Finkel has been advising both governmental entities and private companies on regulation of telecoms, e- and m-commerce, including remote gaming, on digital intellectual property, data protection, data security and specific to ICT cross-border issues. Consulting projects include a study of the implications of implementing the new EU framework for electronic communications networks and services in Malta; a study of a regulatory framework for the facilitation of the introduction of m-commerce in Malta; participation in the review of the EU Electronic Signatures Directive and an EU-wide survey on cybercrime and e-government. Dr. Finkel lectures part-time on legal aspects of e-business and has acted as a tutor/legal consultant in a number of workshops on Cyberlaw organized by the Commonwealth agencies.
