Kian Kim Lim has worked in diverse areas such as market research, technical standards, electronic commerce, technology law, and security consulting. He also co-founded Integer Knowledge Pte Ltd, an IT security training firm. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Texas (Austin), a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University (Australia), and a Master of Laws from National University of Singapore. He is also a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), an accredited mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre, an editorial board member of the Journal of Information Privacy & Security (JIPS) University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and an Executive Council Member with the Association of Information Security Professionals, (AiSP) Singapore. Prior to joining Nanyang Polytechnic (School of Information Technology) as an academic staff, he was the Chief Privacy Officer (Asia Pacific) of IMS Health Inc.
